Founded in 2018, but we've always been there.
I have been working in translation for more than a decade. However, the idea of Echo-Alpha started in 2016.
In 2016, I was hired as an external contractor for the American Translators Association, and the task was exciting yet challenging: to build a team of graders.
Despite the huge number of translators on the web, finding "quality" isn't easy. By "quality" I don't only refer to the accuracy of translation and word selection, but also to little details like proper punctuation or 'hamza' placement.
With a group of talented translators, we came up with our quality standards, keeping in consideration ISO-17100 and the most common challenges that translators face.
Here at Echo-Alpha, we are seeking to establish a network of professional translators who share our quality standards.
