Combining universally-accepted translation quality standards, including the ISO-17100, as well as Arabic-specific standards, the Echo-Alpha quality standards define the language services quality on multiple levels.

Translation StandardsThis category defines the rules of rendering the source text in the target language. A good translation can convey the source text accurately and faithfully to the target audience, maintaining the tone and context.

Target-language Writing StandardsThis set of standards is related to all of our language services.
They define how the output text should be written and received by the target audience, paying extra attention to cohesion, style, and even the selection of regional variations. A good target text should sound authentic to the audience, as though it's native. |
Target-language Text StandardsWe do not tolerate grammar errors, a comma hanging at the beginning of the line, or blank lines instead of page breaks. This set of standards is the least flexible among the others.

Echo-Alpha partners and freelancers are requested to confirm their commitment to the quality standards. Furthermore, in order to verify the translation as Echo-Alpha-certified, each translation will be reviewed by an Echo-Alpha partner for compliance with the quality standards.
