We believe that amateur radio is a powerful blend of art and science that enriches lives and strengthens communities. We believe in the importance of creating a welcoming space where all enthusiasts can connect, share knowledge, and grow. We believe that by providing reliable auxiliary emergency communications and fostering education in radio technology, we can contribute to the betterment of our community.Â
 Get Involved with Our Club
We’d love for you to join us on the air, at our meetings, and at our social gatherings. Whether you’re an experienced operator or just curious about amateur radio, there’s a place for you in our community!
Weekly Net – Tune in on the Wautoma 2-Meter Repeater at 8:00 PM. Nets are held on the first, third, and fourth Tuesday of every month and are a great way to check in, share updates, and keep your skills sharp.
Monthly Meeting – On the second Tuesday of each month, we gather at the Wild Rose Fire Department. After a short business meeting, we always include a training session to help build skills and knowledge.
Social Events – We enjoy getting together outside of radio too! Join us for Ham & Eggs on the first Saturday at Lakeshore Family Restaurant in Wautoma at 8:30 AM, or stop by Coffee & Callsigns on the third Monday at the BR Café in Reaganite, also at 8:30 AM.
Seasonal Workshops – From September through April, we hold a special training workshop on the third Thursday of each month at the Coloma Library/Village Hall (Conference Room #2). Sessions run from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM and offer deeper hands-on training.
